Derbyshire Mental Health Services NHS Trust is a consistently high performing organisation, currently undergoing assessment for Foundation Trust Status. It has held ratings of “Excellent” and “Good” for the last three years, as assessed by the CQC and HCC.
Having fully modernised our Mental Health Services over the last few years, we have just opened a new £32m PFI development, and are now taking a significant transformational change approach to delivering leaner high quality services.
We employ around 2,200 staff across an area of approximately 900 sq miles and now have the following vacancy:
Director of Workforce and Organisation Development
Band 9: £75,383 – £95,333 per annum pro rata
37.5 hours per week
Based at Trust Headquarters, Derby
We require a dynamic and experienced Director to complete our top team and to lead the further strategic development of our workforce and organisational plans. Although not an executive position at this time, you will report directly to the Chief Executive, and will be a full member of the Trust’s Executive Management Group, regularly attending Trust Board Meetings.
You will have a passion for improving productivity and efficiency and for maintaining excellent employee relations. You will possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills together with the energy and drive to create a truly modern and fit for purpose HR function.
