These critical roles within the Divisions of Women’s and Children’s and Clinical Support Services are essential to the delivery of the Trust’s Strategic and Operational agenda.
The roles will offer rewarding opportunities and challenges to experienced NHS managers. To be successful you will have a proven career history of managing high profile services within an acute teaching hospital and of delivering against service and cost improvement targets within agreed and often tight timescales.
Leading the relevant designated Clinical Business Unit (CBU) with a budgetary responsibility of circa £30-55m, you will develop and implement the Business Planning process as the Trust progresses to achieve Foundation Trust status. You will be responsible for planning, supporting and facilitating the delivery of operational performance targets including activity targets, finance and quality of service to patients.
You will be a high achiever, motivated, flexible and enjoy working at both operational and strategic levels. You will have a proven track record that will enable you to understand the complex business needs of the Divisions and designated Clinical Business Units.
It is essential that you have excellent people skills and the credibility and ability to work with and influence at every level and have a track record in delivery and innovation.
