My client, a busy Acute trust is actively seeking an experienced interim NHS Senior Buyer / Category Manager to assist the organisation during a period of transformation.
The key outcome for this requirement will be to review current procurement processes to ensure that the trust is getting "value of money" and identify savings that can be achieved to assist the trust in the delivery of challenging CIP plans.
You will also take ownership of ensuring that accurate management information related to the procurement of trust wide services is provided to the executive team in a timely manner.
This is an exciting opportunity to use your experience of procurement and buying to ensure the trust is in a strong position to deliver future savings whilst continuing to deliver high standards of clinical care.
Ideally you will have a minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role and be able to show a proven track record of delivering against CIP agendas. Short listing will take place no later than Monday February 27th with interviews booked for week commencing February 27th.
