Imperial Health Partners (IHP) is the new Academic Health Science Partnership for North West London which will bring together providers of primary, secondary, tertiary, community and mental healthcare and Imperial College London to pursue higher quality care for patients. This exciting new venture is the first partnership of its kind in North West London and it will support collaborative approaches to innovation in healthcare and present opportunities to conduct clinical trials at a large and meaningful scale and to apply research findings to benefit a greater number of patients. The ideal candidate for this challenging role will be an outstanding leader with the ability to create, sustain and deliver a vision for improving the health of the 1.9 million people in North West London.
As the principal accountable executive officer, work with the Chair, Board and the partners to develop the vision and work programme for the partnership and its Clinical Academic Groups.
Establish effective working relationships across the partnership fostering collaboration and joint ventures between the various organisations and the principal academic partner, Imperial College.
Represent the organisation nationally and internationally and develop the image, reputation and influence of Imperial Health Partners.
A visible, dynamic and inspirational leader with significant management experience gained at CEO or senior level in either the health service or academe/medical research sectors.
Experience of developing strong, collaborative and productive working relationships with staff at a senior level in partner organisations as well as wider stakeholders.
The stature and credibility to represent IHP externally and develop the organisation’s influence at all levels.
