Our client a newly formed CCG has a priority need to recruit an experienced professional to make an immediate and lasting impact to operational practices that will underpin stability of service provision and QIPP efficiency.

The successful candidate will work primarily with leaders of our emerging CCG, GPs and other colleagues from across the local health system to deliver this impact and will have skills and expertise that complement those already available locally.

The prime objective will be to deliver the QIPP Urgent Care Programme across the locality

To achieve this objective we anticipate that the scope of work will include:
-Getting under the skin of historic and current trends in ambulance transfer of patients to A&E and other urgent care settings
-Working with the ambulance service and 111 to ensure that optimal clinical decisions are made that support the transfer/referral of patients to the best setting for their specific need at that point in time-
-Ensuring that all non-A&E/acute service providers are able to fulfil their role supporting the immediate and strategic improvements in service
