With a turnover of over £70 millon, Clatterbridge Centre for Oncology is one of the leading cancer centres in the country on both research and treatment. As an innovative forerunner it its field, the trust is continually striving to offer the best care possible to all patients. In turn, the finance function needs to develop and grow to continue to provide all operational staff the best service possible.
This 12 month fixed term role within the finance department will provide:
• Financial information and advice to Clinical Directors and Senior Managers to enable them to manage their budgets effectively.
• Providing costing information to ensure cost returns and prices reflect the Trusts costs.
• Management and professional leadership for a small team with in the Finance department.
This is a great opportunity for individuals who are working towards or who have already obtained a CCAB qualification. To be successful in this pivotal role you must be able to demonstrate excellent relationship management skills, as the postholder will work closely with budget managers and other members of the finance team to provide timely and accurate information and help develop and further improve information systems.
