Become a partner in something amazing
The ground-breaking venture between Circle, the employee co-owned hospital group, and Hinchingbrooke Hospital has now begun. Following unprecedented planning sessions with 1200 of the hospital workforce, an ambitious plan for transformation has emerged. Hinchingbrooke healthcare professionals and clinicians are now united around an objective to become one of the top ten district general hospitals in the country by excelling in four areas: patient safety, patient experience, staff engagement and value for money.
This is an incredibly exciting time to join our team and contribute to this historic transformation programme. Like John Lewis, Circle are employee co-owned, and run hospitals on their founding principle of devolving power to those closest to patients through clinical leadership. Hinchingbrooke will shortly be divided into a number of clinician-led clinical units. Through these units, consultants, nurses and other clinical specialists will enjoy complete autonomy over the development and delivery of their patients’ whole pathway of care.
This is an excellent opportunity for an exceptional leader where you will be able to help shape and influence strategy in an organisation committed to the principles of clinical leadership and continuous improvement.
You will be required to balance the challenges of the day-to-day operational performance with the delivery of our unique and ambitious business plan. Significant experience in operational management or a senior leadership role within the NHS or other healthcare provider is essential.
