A Business Analyst with NHS experience is required by my client in London on an interim basis.
As Business Analyst, you will need to have a wealth of NHS benchmarking experience to aid with efficiency improvements. You will need to investigate activity areas, and assess current and future possible performance based upon innovations and best practice demonstrated by other NHS organisations.
As part of your role you will need to:
*Research all benchmarking tools currently available to the NHS, analyse and report the Trust's current position and potential for improvement and cost savings.
*Create and document a methodology that can be rerun periodically by the local intelligence team at later date.
*Discuss findings with local teams, and build in local considerations and constraints, so that outputs are valid and realistic for use within the Trust - therefore you will possess an ability to explain the results to a wide set of audiences, including clinicians.
*Liaise with the information, public health, service development and acute contracting teams to ensure that resulting programs and actions can be applied in a practical sense.
My client is looking for removal of cost from the health system, such as achieving existing or better outcomes for a lower level of spend. You will therefore look at the whole range of benchmarking sources.
Interviews will be held in April for a start before the month end.
To be considered please apply with your CV, cover letter summarizing when and where you have performed a similar role within the NHS, day rate and two referees. Please note, ONLY those candidates with proven NHS experience will be contacted.
