Following recent local changes we’ve created a new position to ensure the development and implementation of multi-agency solutions for the commissioning of integrated community equipment services for Gloucestershire. In addition to managing the pooled budget and linked contract arrangements, the post will have a lead role in implementing and progressing the ICES across Health, Social Care and other agencies in line with local and national initiatives and targets; including the development of assistive technology services.

The ideal candidate will need to have a relevant clinical qualification e.g. Nursing, Occupational Therapy and have experience in commissioning, performance, procurement or contract management. Experience of building and maintaining productive relationships in a health and social care setting is also expected, as is the ability to build, motivate and inspire a team approach across organisational boundaries.
