A large, prestigious and forward-thinking NHS Trust based in the South East of England currently requires an Interim Procurement Manager to assist with the implementation of a stock inventory system. This is a four to five month interim contract.
The successful candidate will support the Director of Procurement with the delivery of challenging and commercial savings and efficiency targets.
Duties will include updating a large volume of Oracle e-procurement catalogues. In addition, the successful candidate will be required to assess the case for rolling out a Stock Inventory system across three majorAcute NHS departments by evaluating the efficiency of existing processes.
The ideal candidate will have a strong working knowledge of e-procurement and stock control management systems within the NHS and will have recent strong experience of the Oracle system. Experience within an Acute Trust is highly desirable for this role and candidates with this experience will be preferred.
