Interim Designated Nurse for Safeguarding Adults required for a London based NHS Commissioning organisation to start on the 17th April for an initial 3 month contract. This role will be cover whilst organisation appoints substantively and therefore will be inside IR35.

Accountable to the Director of Quality and Safety, the Designated Nurse for Safeguarding Adults will be responsible for assurance to the CCG that effective safeguarding arrangements are in place for the health services they commission.

The successful candidate will be required to:

- Develop the CCG's safeguarding strategies plans, policies and procedures against the guidance of the National and Local Safeguarding Adults Board.

- Work collaboratively with the Adult Safeguarding Leads of the neighbouring CCGs to ensure continuity of service.

- Be responsible for the prevision and arrangement of training in relation to Safeguarding Adults, Mental Capacity Act (2005) and DoLS.
