A large NHS organisation is currently seeking a very capable individual supporting the wider Estates and Facilities team and reporting to the Estates management. 

Main Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for taking the lead in relation the performance monitoring of the Estates Services including monitoring, analysing and evaluating contract performance across all aspects of the Hard FM contract;
  • Ensure that the project meets Trust requirements and is delivered in a timely and efficient manner within the parameters in terms of cost and quality;
  • Estates responsibilities includes the provision of robust project management for capital variation projects ensuring delivery to time and costs;
  • Will have some responsibility for the management of service provider and external contactors / project teams and manage operating revenue and capital budgets; 
  • To commission and project manage higher level/major capital and revenue schemes from inception through to completion; 
  • Oversee the implementation of strategies, and programmes, for capital projects which will enhance of the patient environment; 
  • Provide expert specialist and professional construction management support; 
  • Oversee and manage all aspects of the Estates development and strategy work and provide a key link between the organisation’s Annual Plan and Estates Strategy. 
A successful candidate will have:
  • A concise background within Hard FM/Capital Projects; 
  • Understand the projects, ability to manage projects either recognised experience/qualifications within this; 
  • Understand and demonstrate budget management and planning within the NHS (Estates specific).
