The George Eliot Hospital NHS Trust is a healthcare provider based in North Warwickshire that provides a full range of district general hospital services and community based care across Warwickshire. The Hospital has a bed base of approximately 300 beds and provides a range of medical, surgical, women’s and children’s services including accident and emergency, maternity and cancer services. The Trust is committed to remaining a high performing and flourishing organisation, striving to achieve the best outcomes for our resident population and beyond.
This is an exciting time for the Trust: we have maintained improvements to the quality of care we deliver and are rated as ‘Good’ by the Care Quality Commission. Key to our future success and sustainability is our exciting plan to develop services to meet the needs of local people through service transformation and the development of a Health and Care campus to meet the health and social care challenge and secure the future of George Eliot Hospital at the heart of the North Warwickshire community. In addition, as part of the Coventry and Warwickshire health economy, we will respond to the healthcare needs of a growing, ageing local population. This is the main aim of the STP, of which we are a committed member.
We are looking for an outstanding medical leader to join us to support the executive team to drive our pursuit of excellence in healthcare built around our Vision and Values including our fundamental belief that each member of our workforce needs to understand their role in both delivering and improving care as we aspire to EXCEL.
To do this you will need to have significant experience of senior medical leadership in an acute setting, have an excellent clinical reputation and the ambition to really make a difference to models of service delivery.
