An exciting Procurement Manager opportunity has arisen with an NHS Organisation based in the South East. As a Procurement Manager at an established NHS Trust you will be a key member of the Procurement team, reinforcing the core values and principles as set out in the Five Year Forward View and the overall aims of the organisation.

You will be working directly with the Head of Procurement and play an integral part in the development of the department through managing, influencing and leading individuals.

The Procurement Manager will be commercially astute and will utilise their Procurement experience to manage multiple contracts to ensure best value for money and high service levels. The Procurement Manager will be responsible for achieving key targets.

Detailed knowledge and wide experience of NHS contracts is vital to this role coupled with a solid understanding of contract law. You will be able to identify opportunities for improvement of processes, policies, and procedures together with the skill of being able to negotiate successfully with suppliers.

Candidates must be fully qualified (MCIPS) and have a proven experience of delivering savings and managing complex projects ensuring compliance with legislative requirements.
