My client, based in the Midlands, is looking for a Head of Quality Contracts. The role is to support the Chief Nurse and Quality Lead and Deputy Chief Nurse, in achieving sustained improvements in quality of care, patient safety and patient experience. Also need to ensure that the local quality standards, quality markers and remedial actions are enforced to facilitate improvements in service quality, delivery and outcomes.

You will be required to work closely with the NHS Organisation, Local Authority and Care Quality Commission in all aspects of Quality contract monitoring including safeguarding.

You will be required to lead on the development of quality commissioning frameworks for all commissioned services in relation to the post holder's portfolio. To ensure the delivery of safe high quality services and secure sustained improvements in relation to patient experience, patient safety and clinical effectiveness.

Additionally need to deputise for the Chief Nurse at strategic service planning level and performance groups to ensure a coordinated approach to the delivery of the objectives of the organisation.

The successful candidate will have previous NHS experience including 3 years' experience in a management role within Quality specifically in Contracts (Urgent Care, 111, emergency care), and also you will need to hold a current clinical registration.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely within a well-established fast moving team within the NHS organisation.

NHS experience is essential to the role, and any applicant must be able to perform, review and implement change upon the recommendations.
