Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust provides a wide range of hospital-based services from three main sites - the Alexandra Hospital in Redditch, Kidderminster Hospital and Treatment Centre, and Worcestershire Royal Hospital in Worcester.  We serve a population of more than 575,000 people in Worcestershire, as well as caring for patients from surrounding counties and further afield.  With an annual turnover exceeding £380 million, we employ nearly 6,000 people, and around 800 local people volunteer with us in helping to deliver care.

Our new Director of People and Culture will be pivotal in ensuring leadership, at all levels, is focused on the collective achievement of shared goals and the development of strong and effective staff engagement.  You will lead the design and delivery of organisational development interventions that promote and embed signature behaviours across all aspects of the Trust’s activities.   A confident and inspiring leader, who is comfortable operating in complex, fast-paced environments, you will assume a broad set of corporate responsibilities and engage with a wide range of stakeholders.  Providing credible professional leadership to the HR function, you will also have the ability to embed a transformational programme of cultural change.  This will be central in enabling us to meet the changing needs of our population and will position us as a strong and influential partner within the health and care system.
