Working alongside a CCG in North Yorkshire, we are seeking a registered Learning disabilities, Or mental health nurse to join our busy team of Nurse assessors at this fantastic trust.

Your responsibilities will be taking on a case load of community based Continuing Healthcare assessments, judging funding eligibility for the individual.

This is an extremely rewarding role, interacting with the community.

The role will be 5 days per week, and is OUTSIDE IR35. You will provided with a laptop on which you can write up assessment. You will be payed petrol expenses between site and assessment location.

You will need:

*To have experience with the Continuing healthcare process.

*Be confident in autonomously conducting assessments using the Decision Support Tool (DST).

* Have experience presenting to panel.

*A valid Pin registration as either a Mental Health or Learning Disability Nurse.

Desirable skills:

*Have commissioned or brokered cases.

* Have experience dealing with high cost packages of care.

*Have chaired panels.
