Practicus is currently supporting a large acute trust who having been through a difficult period both in terms of financial and operational performance and find themselves in a "turnaround" situation.

They are taking the opportunity to get experienced interim support to assist with these outcomes and I am therefore looking for an experienced operational manager - Unplanned Care (ED/ Urgent Care) who will be able to support the trust to delivery its short and long term goals whilst delivering sustainable year on savings .

Immediate start

6 month contract (end of March 2018)

band 8c /d dependant on experience.

Ideally with a strong General Manager background you will understand Unplanned Care and be able to utilise this experience in order to identify opportunities to improve performance from the current circa 85% to a target of circa 90%. At the same time you will support the trust during the difficult Winter period and support resilience planning.

A strong communicator you will be self sufficient and need little direct management, you will be a key member of the wider team and must be hard working and resilient.
