Finegreen are delighted to be working on behalf of a large private healthcare provider, the role is on an interim basis whilst they recruit to the substantive post. 

Main Responsibilities:
  • The Clinical Operations Manager role aims to ensure the smooth running of the centre on a day to day basis by overseeing all clinical areas and management of the clinical team; 
  • Co-ordination of doctors/surgeons/anaesthetists; being the main point of call for clinical matters and by being a part of the operational management structure within the Centre. To be innovative and drive forward quality in client care, maintaining excellence and compliance to policy and regulatory requirements at all times; 
  • Provide strategic and operational management to the theatre team ensuring that all staff deliver high quality specialist services for planned procedures; 
  • Lead on changes in clinical practice and policy and actively support the integration of best practice;
  • Ensure appropriate cover for service delivery including flexibility to meet changes in demand; 
  • Monitor and improve standards of good practice, safety, service and client care; 
  • Monitor, develop and enforce standards of clinical care, correcting or improving performance where appropriate;
  • Ensure appropriate responses to handling medical emergencies are in place, lead on emergency situations when present and follow up all cases to conclusion;
  • Ensure Safeguarding concerns are identified and appropriate action is taken;
A successful candidate will have:
  • You will have a current registration as either a RGN or Midwife; 
  • Up to date understanding of gynaecology and theatre practice (recent experience not essential);
  • District Nurse/Midwife or community based nursing desirable;
  • Experience of managing or leading a team; 
  • Excellent people management skills, including mentoring and developing team members and the ability to deal with people management issues effectively;
  • Meet tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities under pressure.
