We’re starting a journey of change, and we’re looking for a new Director of Finance & Commercial Services to join us on that journey. This post will work closely with our new Leadership Team and our Board, to help us deliver our strategic goals and ultimately support a better NHS.
The Executive Director of Finance & Commercial Services is an Executive Board member and a key member of the Executive Leadership Team, with collective accountability for delivery of the NHSBSA Strategy; specifically required to actively participate in achieving the NHSBSA purpose and goals through the development of an organisational culture that is open, empowers innovation in people and champions on-going service development.
Working to the Chief Executive and other members of the Board the post holder is responsible for the organisation’s financial strategy, developing and overseeing the organisation’s financial governance, risk and compliance arrangements and the management and control of its finances and assets, ensuring robust stewardship of funds and that the NHSBSA meets its statutory obligations and financial targets, taking remedial action as required to deliver these.
The purpose of the role is to be accountable for all Financial Services, along with responsibility for developing and delivering the Authority’s Commercial Services.
