Urgent and exciting opportunity for an experienced Assistant Director of ICT who has a track record of delivery in an NHS Acute setting .

This is a senior an business critical post sitting at a 8d level.

With a track record of delivering operational management in a NHS IT / ICT or IM&T setting and the ability to drive a number of technology workstreams this is an exciting opportunity for a resilient, dynamic and positive senior IT professional.

You will have gravitas and credibility to a team going through a period of change - you will need CISCO experience and ideally be Microsoft accredited as these form key elements of the post.

Responsible for managing a team of internal IT professionals covering 1st line support, switchboard, ERP and associated technology support. You will also take ownership of the day to day function, deputising for the Director of IT and Information Management.

The trust has a number of wide ranging associated high profile IM&T programmes underway that this role will support.

NHS Acute provider experience is required for this post, as is your ability to combine excellent technical knowledge along with strong communication and engagement skills.
