A public sector company in the Midlands has an immediate requirement for an Interim Executive Clerk to the Boards of Governors to join their team on a 3 month contract basis.

If you have experience working as a Clerk and have the ability to advise the board and its committee on the appropriate exercise of its powers, then this could be the role for you.

What will you be doing?

As a Clerk to the Boards of Governors, you'll be responsible for managing a team. You'll have the ability to ensure developments within governance and committee management comply with best practice. In addition to this, you'll handle administration tasks such as writing up minutes for meetings and ensuring all paperwork for meetings are completed.

What skills/experience should you have?

  • Experience working as a clerk
  • Experience in writing up meetings/minutes for Deputy Vice Chancellors/Governors
  • Ability to handle confidential information and communicate with confidence
