Deputy Director of Quality
The Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital (RNOH) is the largest specialist orthopaedic provider in the NHS and delivers highly specialist care to patients from across the UK and internationally. Quality is at the heart of all we do and the role of Deputy Director of Quality is central to ensure that we achieve the outcomes and safety that we are renowned for.
You will coordinate a large department with functions that cover all aspects of quality, including patient safety, patient experience and clinical effectiveness. Skill in building, developing and empowering teams is going to be essential for this role and you will be able to bring significant experience with you of where you have done this successfully before.
An ambitious senior manager with extensive experience in at least one of the quality domains (and ideally more than one), you will have an eye for detail, be a completer finisher and have skill in engaging front line clinical teams in quality improvement work.
This is the ideal post for an aspiring Director and offers significant exposure to board and external stakeholder working, management of complex quality issues and the opportunity to deliver significant programmes of quality improvement.
