My client is an independent healthcare provider specialising in the provision of wide ranging healthcare services to individuals throughout the UK.

They have a really interesting opportunity for an experienced consultant to lead on the organisation's regulatory compliance needs. You will lead on the development of the organisation's understanding of their obligations and the standards the CQC expects of them. You will ensure the organisation is ready for inspection and has the tools in place to ensure they improve and develop in terms of their understanding of good practice in relation to regulatory compliance.

The successful candidate will ideally have a clinical background and will ideally be an RGN, although strong background in a similar role or with the CQC without being a clinician may be considered. You will also possess a background in governance, quality and risk in relation to the new requirements the CQC has in terms of process and guidelines. You will also ideally have a background in project management and the development of plans to ensure that performance can be assessed and monitored internally and by other. Although wider experience is welcome, you must have at least 5 years gained in the acute hospital setting, as well as (ideally) within the independent healthcare sector.

The assignment will run for 3 to 6 months and requires an immediate start. The assignment is outside of IR35 and has a day rate of £300 to £330pd. If you have the required skills please contact Andrew Vaux on 01491 577122.
