Assistant Director of Performance & Planning

The Finegreen Group is working in partnership with an NHS Clinical Commissioning Group based in the South East that requires an experienced interim Assistant Director of Performance & Planning for a three to six month assignment commencing in December.

The post holder will be required to play a leading role in the organisation’s performance delivery and planning strategy to ensure that the CCG is able to effectively against deliver local targets.

Reporting into the Chief Officer and working with multiple organisations across the local health economy. The successful candidate will have the following experience and skills;
  • Educated to masters degree level in relevant subject or equivalent level of experience of working at a similar level in specialist area;
  • Project and programme management and performance management in the Healthcare commissioning sector;
  • Detailed knowledge of planning, performance management, in the Healthcare commissioning sector;
  • A detailed understanding of the relationship between NHS England and individual provider and clinical commissioning groups;
  • Excellent track record in performance delivery;
  • Track record of successful delivery in senior leadership roles across health and care sectors;
  • Excellent communications skills;
  • Stakeholder engagement.
