Are you looking for a fantastic career opportunity? If so come and join us as our Chief Operating Officer (Job Share) and look forward to a bright future. This is a unique opportunity for an exceptional candidate to join our stable and well-established Board of Directors and our wider team of remarkable people. We'll make sure you always feel a part of a flexible and talented workforce that constantly seeks new ways of working to deliver the best care.  We are a Trust that works closely with our partners in a vibrant city that is a great place to live, work and unwind; a Trust that typifies this remarkable place and reflects its extraordinary people.

Be a part of it, you'll love it. WE PROMISE.

We treat almost a million patients every year, who talk very highly of the services we provide. Yes, we recognise that we have our obstacles to overcome, but as a Board we never shy away from a challenge. We acknowledge those areas where we can improve and we are united with our staff and partners to make sure that this happens, we welcome you to join this team and make a difference.

At the same time as focusing on improving our care and service delivery we are an active partner in our STP, seeking to transform our health and social care system with our Humber Coast and Vale partners, particularly Northern Lincolnshire and Goole and York NHS Foundation Trusts.  We have a truly transformational workforce, and we make the significant contribution to research and innovative practice you would expect from a large teaching Trust.

Hull and East Yorkshire is a place with a unique, and occasionally peculiar, identity. Thanks to the UK City of Culture 2017 we opened our doors to the rest of the world, offering 365 days of compelling and ambitious world-class events and that’s set to continue into 2018 and beyond. Join the rest of the world and discover our hidden depths: our history and our culture, our nightlife, our countryside and our beautiful coastline.

We are fortunate that our current Chief Operating Officer is not leaving our Trust, but has decided to reduce her hours whilst maintaining her commitment to the role.  This has provided an exciting and unique opportunity for a job share arrangement at Board level.

As a Job Sharing Chief Operating Officer, your responsibilities are extremely varied. As well as leading on day-to-day operations and contributing to the strategy of the organisation, you can be sure that each day will bring both new opportunities and interesting challenges to test your skills and keep you occupied.

If you believe you can lead, shape and enhance our Trust and our workforce, and if you have the experience, drive and enthusiasm to ensure that HEY continues to be a known as a place to receive great care, then we would really like to hear from you.

Please contact the Chief Executive, Mr Chris Long and or the Chief Operating Officer Mrs Ellen Ryabov to discuss the role in more detail on 01482 675783.
