Business Development Manager
This role calls for an experienced Business Development Manager to actively seek out new business opportunities, developing new markets & delivering new customers. You will identify and progress new sales opportunities. They will create cross-selling opportunities by promoting all products and services provided by CoSector. You will also take an active role in lead generation, creating sales support martials shaping, marketing brand new and existing products and services. The role will focus on developing sales in the software services business area, as well as supporting other CoSector Digital Services units.
Duties will include:-
Business Development and Sales
Finance & Administration
Good experience of selling SaaS or Software Solutions
Evidence of financial and relationship management ability
Excellent use of MS Office (particularly Excel) & CRM Systems
Knowledge of Social Media
Excellent Commercial Awareness
Business Case Planning and Implementation
Educated to degree level (or equivalent) in English Language & Mathematics
Excellent inter-personal skills together with the sensitivity to complete tasks in a multi-layered complex organisation.
Ability to work with minimum supervision and exercise a high degree of responsibility and judgement in order to make frequent decisions on own initiative
Ability to plan and keep an overall and objective view if all processes and tasks
Excellent Business sense and knowledge combined with Commercial Awareness and ability to identify and develop Commercial opportunities
Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) and and aptitude for building strong customer relationships
Ability to negotiate, form partnerships and control costs
Imaginative thinking, entrepreneurialism & problem solving skills
Well organised and able to his or her own workload and that of the service. A good eye for detail
Ability to work quickly, remain calm and clear sighted under pressure, solve problems and meet deadlines and targets
Tact and patience for dealing with internal and external contacts
