My client is an independent care group specialising in wide ranging services including supporting those with LD and PD.

They have a really interesting opportunity for an experienced Area Turnaround Manager to work with the senior management team of the business on significantly improving the standard of care and turning around a number of homes currently with significant operational and clinical quality issues. You will ensure the highest standards of care are achieved and that staff are well motivated, trained and clear on what is expected of them from the regulator and their service users. There are action plan that needs delivering, however you will also ensure staff are adopting new ways of working as part of the wider need for cultural change.

The successful candidate will be very solid clinically and will also need experience of managing multi-site residential care services, this can be LD, MH or elderly care. You will be used to managing teams (including area level managers) and have specific experience of turning around poorly performing residential care services. You will be a senior operator and have run similar services in the past. My client also needs someone used to working with regulatory bodies such as the CQC and safeguarding groups to implement action plans following on from a poor CQC inspection.

The assignment will run for 3 to 6 months initially. My client requires an immediate start and is offering a rate of £380 to £400 a day. If you have the required skills please contact Andrew Vaux on 01491 577122.
