This role requires a candidate who can command credibility at board level, and whilst we would welcome applications from experienced board-level candidates we also recognise that this might be a great opportunity for an ambitious, capable, high-flying individual to break-through into their first board post.

As such, applicants will have had considerable operational leadership experience gained within a suitably complex and challenging acute setting, with a demonstrable track record of successfully driving operational excellence and efficiencies.  You will have outstanding communication skills in order to engage, lead and motivate a committed and talented workforce across a complex and demanding multisite organisation and the grit and gravitas to have an impact.
