I am recruiting for an interim Deputy Care Home Manager for an organisation based in the South West.  This large bedded facility specialises within dementia, residential, nursing and respite care.

This is a 3 month assignment outside of IR35.

Key responsibilities:
  • Support the Home Manager to ensure services enhance quality of life for people receiving care and support;
  • Ensure care provided in delivered in accordance with approved current research based guidelines;
  • Hold staff meetings in conjunction with the Home Manager;
  • Plan finances and control budgets in line with the company’s financial policies;
  • Investigate incidents and accidents, implement appropriate action as a result of the audit process and produce reports;
  • Produce monthly management reports for the Care Services Manager;
  • Be familiar with the Company’s standards, practices and statement of resident’s rights and ensuring these are adhered to.
The successful candidate:
  • CQC turnaround experience essential;
  • NMC registration desirable.
