Executive Director of Finance
Tameside & Glossop Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust serves a population of approximately 250,000 residing in the surrounding area of Tameside in Greater Manchester and the town of Glossop in Derbyshire.
With a turnover of £205 million and employing approximately 3,800 staff, the Trust provides a comprehensive range of general hospital services along with community health services. In addition, the Trust has in place network arrangements with other providers across GM to deliver appropriate specialist services for our population.
We require an experienced and business orientated Finance Director who can bring tight financial control as we continue on the transformational phase of the development of the Trust strategy. It is an exciting opportunity for the Trust as we are developing a model of Integrated Care across the local health and social care economy, working closely with our partners at Tameside Metropolitan Borough Council (TMBC), Tameside & Glossop CCG and within Primary Care. You will be as much a part of ensuring good financial management as shaping the strategy of the organisation and ensuring stability in the future.
You will need to be a fully qualified accountant with Board level experience and able to demonstrate NHS and commercial knowledge and experience. As an experienced leader, you will be good at building working relationships and making a strategic contribution beyond your areas of expertise.
The successful candidate will be an inspirational leader with a strategic outlook, along with a full understanding of financial information and performance management of a NHS organisation.
For an informal discussion please contact Karen James, Chief Executive on 0161 922 6002.
