Senior Health Improvement Officer
An opportunity has arisen within the Public Health Directorate within the Department of Health and Social Care for a Senior Health Improvement Officer.
The post holder will:
Provide strategic leadership, specialist expertise, coordination, advice and support on public health, health improvement and promotion across Government and multi-agency settings to improve and promote the health of the population and reduce inequalities.
Facilitate and lead multi-agency health improvement programmes of work through key strategic partners in the public, private and third sectors.
Develop health improvement capacity across Government and strategic partnerships to support health behaviour change.
Develop and support health improvement information functions and structures, including data collection and reporting.
