Chief Executive and Partnership Lead
Airedale NHS Foundation Trust is a highly successful, award winning hospital and community services trust with a workforce of 2,600 and 400 volunteers serving a population of over 200,000 people across West and North Yorkshire and East Lancashire. We are committed to working with our partners and our community to put patient and population needs first, and provide excellent, innovative, efficient and diverse services which deliver safe, high quality care. Recognised nationally for our technological innovation in clinical services, we are a progressive organisation with a talented leadership team.
Our highly respected Chief Executive is retiring this year. At a time of transformational change in the delivery of health and care services, our new Chief Executive will build on strong foundations in quality and financial performance and a track record of effective engagement with our staff and our partners across the health care economy. We are committed to the continued integration of health and care services locally and to working regionally through the West Yorkshire and Harrogate Health and Care Partnership and West Yorkshire Association of Acute Trusts to ensure the sustainable delivery of high quality services across our wider population.
Airedale, Wharfedale and Craven Health and Care Partnership is one of seven underpinning partnerships for West Yorkshire and Harrogate. The partners have agreed that this appointment offers us an exciting opportunity to also appoint a leader of our partnership and take us on the next stage of our journey towards an integrated health and care system focussed on improving population health and a sustainable care system. The successful candidate will therefore be both the Chief Executive of Airedale NHS FT and the leader of the Airedale, Wharfedale and Craven Health and Care Partnership.
We are seeking a collaborative and innovative leader with relevant executive experience including demonstrable leadership within broader health and care systems and an understanding of acute service delivery. You will thrive in a complex and dynamic stakeholder environment and bring a track record of delivering sustained change beyond organisational boundaries. An energetic individual, you will be a skilled communicator with the personal qualities and credibility that will inspire all those involved in delivering healthcare locally and quickly build trust with the Partnership and in the surrounding regions. Most of all you will share our values and those of our health and care system and ensure that we continue to put people first and deliver the right care, every time; keeping people ‘happy, healthy at home’.
