Project Manager - Acute
My client has a really interesting opportunity for a systematic delivery focused Project Manager with experience of delivering cost improvement projects (CIP) in the acute hospital setting. There is no preference between NHS or independent hospitals, however operational / business project delivery around CIP in hospitals is essential.
I require a project manager who is a Prince2 Practitioner but who also has at least 5 years 'real world' project delivery experience in the aforementioned setting. You will be a good planner and therefore know how initiate and then deliver a project. That said, this is a hands on role so doing and delivering must also be second nature to the right candidate. It is also important that the project manager is a strong relationship builder, used to mitigating clinical risks in projects and that you can get on with the job in hand independently. It is also vital that you have experience of working successfully in a Prince environment and are able to produce project plans and regularly report on real time progress to internal and external stakeholders. You will be a good all-rounder, possess a 'can do' attitude and be professional in appearance and attitude.
The assignment will run for a minimum of 3 months with the possibility of extension and requires an immediate start. The day rate is between £350 and £370 - the assignment is outside of IR35. If you have the required skills please contact Andrew Vaux on 01491 577122.
