BCHC is looking for a strong, dynamic and inspirational experienced leader to join us in our commitment to have outstanding services for our patients across a range of community services to deliver robust corporate governance and assurance frameworks.
As Director of Corporate Governance, you will be a member of the Trust’s Executive Team, reporting to the Chief Executive. Ideally offering an understanding of the NHS/public sector or experience in another similar complex, regulated environment, we are looking for an experienced senior professional with strong interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with a diverse set of stakeholders at a variety of levels, who can bring pragmatic and diplomatic challenge to the status quo. As a member of the Trust’s Senior Executive Team and principal advisor to the Board on all aspects of governance, risk, legal, health and safety and emergency planning, the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate strategic vision able to lead the design and ongoing development of a governance and assurance framework for the organisation whilst ensuring it meets the standards of good governance set for the NHS in England.
