Finegreen are recruiting on behalf of one of the leading healthcare groups in the UK for the appointment of a Divisional Clinical Resources Director based in one of their London Hospitals.

The Divisional Clinical Resources Director is responsible for establishing and leading the supply expense agenda for the clinical resource management program across multi hospitals or an Integrated Delivery Network (IDN). The successful candidate will be responsible for driving positive change through program definition and leading initiatives that support the health care organisations clinical expense agenda.

The post holder is responsible for reviewing and optimising the group purchasing organisation’s contract portfolio and developing and executing product standardisation for the entire division. The position is responsible for recruiting, directing, mentoring, managing and evaluating the facility Clinical Resource Directors and coordinating activities within the facilities.

The Division Clinical Resource Director has a broad enterprise and segment influence and will need to build strategic alliances with Supply Chain and Hospital Executive Leadership at the Corporate, Division and Facility level to successfully execute our Supply Chain Operations plan. The position requires confidence, independent action, initiative, a sense of urgency, and the ability to make decisions and take responsibility for them. A well-suited candidate can react and adjust quickly to changing conditions and come up with practical ideas for dealing with them.

The main responsibilities for the role are transforming supply chain, clinical and financial resources, operational grip and aligning the organisation. You will be building on an already successful reputation to enhance and optimise product, equipment, environment and hospital utilisation. This role aims to improve the outcomes of patients and reinforce clinician, end-user and consultant satisfaction. The challenge of balancing the expectations of the organisation with the deliverables is on-going.

The ideal candidate will be able to build relationships at the corporate, division and facility level to include supply chain and hospital executive leadership, chief medical officer, clinical directors, physicians, value analysis teams and supply chain leadership.

The successful candidate;
  • Clinical operational hospital or healthcare related experience (Operating Room, Cath Lab, or Critical Care);
  • Significant proven/successful leadership experience (Chief Nursing Officer, ACNO, Director);
  • Multi-facility experience (desirable);
  • Appropriate for educational level;
  • Advanced computer skills with Microsoft Word, Excel
  • LPN/RN, Certified Materials and Resource Professional (CMRP), Certified Value Analysis Health Professional (CVAHP) or similar credential preferred.

A competitive salary of circa £85,000 per annum with a flexible benefits scheme includes a contribution pension scheme, the use of all the client facilities and annual salary review and 25 days holiday each year. Relocation packages are available if you are living outside of London or the UK.

You will have excellent organisational and management skills with the ability to flexibly respond to the needs of the department and the hospital. Strong interpersonal skills are essential as is the ability to effect change and set, implement and evaluate standards of practice.
