Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council are looking for a brilliant person to step into their first Corporate Director role and work within a strong and successful senior leadership team. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious, energetic and visionary public health professional to build on good performance, helping us to be the best we can be for our residents.
This is a unique opportunity to deliver in a system-leadership role within a vibrant and successful community. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive, you will help to drive forward this vision, working as a key member in the senior leadership team and across our partner organisations in the Birmingham and Solihull STP.
You’ll be responsible for driving behaviour change, prevention and early intervention through the implementation of multi-agency, long-term public health programmes focusing on integration, demand management and reducing health inequalities. You’ll also have the opportunity to lead our approach to resilience and our recently secured Sport England partnership investment.
If you have a track record of encouraging positive outcomes, the motivation, energy, enthusiasm and skills to help deliver better outcomes and make a real impact, we’d like to hear from you. It’s important you’re a registered GMC, GDC or UK PHR public health specialist experienced in all areas of public health practice.
