As the Executive Director of Therapies and Health Science you will have a track record of delivering against statutory requirements and of playing a pivotal role in a dynamic and ambitious leadership team.  You will need to be an outstanding leader with professional stature and political awareness, gained at Board level in a complex organisation.

You will hold professional responsibility and provide strategic leadership for the Therapy and Health Science professions within the Health Board – this includes, but is not exclusive to all Health and Care Professions Council registered professions.  Other areas of executive level responsibility currently included in the portfolio are health and safety, fire safety, university health board status, stroke, neurological conditions, falls, diabetes, myalgic encephalomyelitis/chronic fatigue syndrome and fibromyalgia.

Your leadership will enable the Health Board to achieve continuous clinical excellence, outstanding patient care, financial sustainability and maintain a strong values based culture.  You will work closely with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders and have a track record of delivering results through partnership working and strong engagement.
