Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust provides high quality care to a population of approximately 300,000 people living in Cheshire and beyond. We provide a comprehensive range of acute and intermediate care services from three sites. Employing more than 4,700 members of staff, we have an annual income of more than £250m. We are also part of Central Cheshire Integrated Care Partnership which provides a range of community health services across South Cheshire and Vale Royal.  A progressive organisation; we have built a strong and empowering culture.  We are one of a small number of acute Trusts twice rated ‘Good’ by the Care Quality Commission and we are in the top five acute trusts in the country for staff engagement in the 2018 national staff survey.

Our vision is to deliver excellence in healthcare through innovation and collaboration.  We are increasingly a networked organisation with strong relationships particularly in the Cheshire East Partnership where we are establishing an Integrated Care System.  We enjoy strong clinical networks with a range of tertiary providers and are working across the Cheshire and Merseyside Sustainability and Transformation Partnership to join up services on a regional footprint in order to better serve the needs of our populations now and in the future.

After eight successful years in post our highly respected Chief Executive, Tracy Bullock is moving on.  This creates an exciting opportunity for an outstanding leader to join us and to provide leadership to our organisation and wider system in the next stage of development.  We are seeking exceptional leaders either seeking their first Chief Executive position or established Chief Executives with the appetite for a new strategic challenge.  You will bring a collaborative and engaging personal style that will support our strong and empowering culture.  Sharing our vision and values, you will quickly establish credibility within our complex network of partners and demonstrate a track record of leading continuous improvement in the delivery of high quality healthcare services.
