Being part of our newly formed leadership teams will involve leading these changes at pace whilst simultaneously being fully engaged in the system wide discussions that are taking place within our two Sustainability Transformation Partnerships (STP) across Norfolk and Waveney and Suffolk.  This is an exciting opportunity to develop and implement real system wide change for people with mental health and learning disabilities, which can provide life changing outcomes and real co-produced service transformation. Working in collaboration with the local health economy, service users and staff, as part of the Care Group team you’ll have the opportunity to influence and improve our services locally. Successful candidates will work collaboratively across mental health specialists, developing and providing robust leadership; a key team player able to make collective local decisions; supporting clear local and clinically led decision making.

Job description: Norfolk and Suffolk Foundation Trust (NSFT) seeks applications from dynamic, motivated and enthusiastic clinicians for the role of Clinical Directors. We are recruiting 9 Clinical Directors for our services organised around local care groups and specialist services. The successful applicants will be responsible for providing Clinical Leadership focussing on service improvement, maintaining quality and safety standards and managing senior clinicians within the services. We welcome applications from experienced Clinical Directors as well as individuals seeking to move into their next career role to join us in this exciting transformational journey. We are seeking clinicians with at least three years’ experience as a Substantive Consultant Psychiatrist and Senior Clinicians from other professional backgrounds.

The successful applicants will be expected to work 0.6 wte in Clinical Director role and 0.4 wte in relevant clinical roles.  Suitable clinical role will be identified based on the successful applicants experience and area of expertise. Successful applicants will have access to generous relocation and career development packages, as well as access to excellent flexible working opportunities and wellbeing support.
