Barnet, Enfield & Haringey Mental Health NHS Trust (BEH), is a multiple award-winning, combined mental health and community Trust providing local, regional and national healthcare services. We are one of the largest employers in North London, with over 3,000 staff delivering a range of mental health and community services to a population of over one million.

Over the past year, we have appointed a new Chief Executive and Chair and we are now seeking a new Chief Operating Officer, who will work closely with the Board to achieve our vision of ensuring BEH is at the forefront of delivering high-quality, integrated mental health and community services.

There has never been a more exciting time to join BEH. We are embarking upon a period of transformation in which our new COO will have a large and influential role. S/he will need to be an experienced and energetic operations’ professional able to lead a dispersed, multidisciplinary workforce with pace and energy. Someone with the ability to enable staff to deliver the highest levels of operational performance, ensuring that consistency is achieved throughout the Trust.

Our new COO will champion our values, embed our focus on quality improvement in day-to-day work and lead on the active engagement of all our key stakeholders - especially service users and their carers - to reshape care systems to provide sustainable models based on need. Above all, our new COO will be a compassionate, empathetic and empowering leader with demonstrable ability to deliver outstanding results through building, developing and inspiring high-performance teams.

If this sounds like you, then we’d like to hear from you. For a detailed conversation and to apply for this role please contact our search partners, Rhiannon Smith and Victoria Stevenson at Hunter Healthcare on 020 7935 4570.
