Interim Head of Legal

Specifically your role will be about providing support, guidance and advise to clinical staff across the organisation. In addition you will support them prepare for clinical negligence cases and inquests as well as develop reports for the board and advising them on progress.

The role will be based on site, 5 days per week, as there will be significant interaction with various stakeholders across the organisation at all levels.

The Trust is looking for a qualified lawyer with a degree in Law, or the equivalent qualifications. You will have extensive experience working in an NHS Trust and have significant experience in negligence claims and inquests in a NHS setting. You must be able to work independently, have excellent written and verbal communication skills, very high attention to detail and be experienced in working with clinical professional.

You will work closely with the trusts quality governance, safety, risk and infection control team.
