We are seeking a high calibre candidate, with senior level experience in leading quality and governance within a diverse system or context, to play a major part in realising the vision to transform and integrate health and social care in Manchester.

Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust, Manchester City Council, Manchester Primary Care Partnership and Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust have developed a partner organisation; Manchester Local Care Organisation (MLCO). From 1st April 2018 MLCO will be accountable for integrated health and social care services within city, locality and community settings. This post offers a unique opportunity to be part of the leadership team of a new, emerging partner organisation underpinned by a 10 year strategy with the City of Manchester to improve the lives of the people we serve.

This post is critical and fundamental to the safe transition and transformation of the services which are phasing into MLCO over a 3 year period. Working in close collaboration with partner organisations the post holder will be politically astute with high emotional intelligence and the ability to work with others to find the best solutions and outcomes. If you are a strong communicator and change agent with high level influencing skills and a passion for governance we want to hear from you.
