Trust appoints integrated care director as acting CEO

Published on: 6 Jan 2022

A mental health and community trust has appointed its executive director for integrated care as acting chief executive.

Jacqui van Rossum took over the role at North East London Foundation Trust on 1 January

This followed the departure of Oliver Shanley, who was appointed on an interim basis in July 2019 after John Brouder stepped down.

Ms van Rossum has served on the trust’s executive board since 2010 and has more than 30 years’ worth of experience in operational management across mental health and community services, acute care and social care.

NELFT chair Joe Fielder said: “I am really pleased that Jacqui is our new acting chief executive.”

“Her leadership and management experience, as well as her previous role as part of our trust board, means she will be able to lead the trust in these demanding yet exciting times.”

Ms van Rossum added: “I am looking forward to working, not only with colleagues across NELFT, but with our wider partners to deliver innovative and integrated services across Essex, Kent and north east London.”
