Develop today’s nurses for tomorrow’s patients at Manchester University Foundation Trust

One of the largest Trusts in England we are the new Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust. We intend to deliver the benefits that we can derive from the size and scale of our new organisation; to improve the health and wellbeing of the people of Manchester, Trafford and beyond.

Wythenshawe, Trafford, Altrincham and Withington hospitals offer a breadth of secondary and tertiary services and have a world class reputation for research and innovation. This is a unique opportunity to develop your career as a Director of Nursing with the peer support and encouragement of Directors of Nursing across the Group and the Chief Nurse.

The Director of Nursing for Wythenshawe, Trafford, Altrincham and Withington hospitals (WTAW) is a new leadership role; you’ll report to the Hospital CEO and be part of a new and energetic management team with the scale and scope to shape and develop the very best in nursing; ordinary people doing extraordinary things.

If you have a strong values base in all that you do, are excited by the chance to lead a proud and diverse nursing team and care passionately about improving care and services for people then we would love to get to know you.

So if you’re ready to take the next step in your career and you understand what it takes to inspire results, then let’s talk about this unique challenge. You can find out more about the hospitals by clicking here, or for an informal conversation with the Chief Nurse, please contact Professor Cheryl Lenney on 0161 276 4738 . The Selection process will be held on 1st December.

Together, we can achieve anything.
