We are seeking an exceptional senior nurse leader with strong operational skills for the position of Director of Nursing/Deputy Chief Nursing Officer. You will lead a team of Associate Directors of Nursing and senior nurses to achieve our vision; to deliver high quality world-class services to our patients.

By forming strong working relationships with other corporate directors and by forming strong working relationships both internally and externally, you will have the opportunity to directly influence and lead the delivery of high quality services for patients and to develop the Nursing, Midwifery and AHP workforce of the future.

We are one of the UK’s leading specialist teaching hospitals, providing healthcare to a population of over 1,000,000. A designated Major Trauma Centre in the West Midlands, we offer state state-of-the-art facilities offering major advances in patient care, clinical teaching and innovation. We employ more than 8500 staff and have 1250 inpatient beds across its two sites; University Hospital Coventry and the Hospital of St. Cross in Rugby. We are proud to work in partnership with our local education provider, Coventry University, to deliver award-winning undergraduate training to Nurses, Midwives and Allied Health Professionals.
