Children and Young People's Project Manager

Morgan Hunt's NHS client is looking for an interim Band 8b Children and Young People's Project Manager for an initial 6 month period. The post holder will work as part of a wider CYP Programme and will provide overall management of a mental health in schools project in preparation for the implementation of the ambitions set out in the Department of Health and Social Care and Department for Education Green Paper "Transforming children and young people's mental health provision" and to support the delivery of the vision of "Future in Mind" (NHS England and Department of Health).

Key responsibilities of the CYP Project Manager:

* Engage with schools to map current mental health and wellbeing provision in all secondary schools in the locality.
* Report findings and best practice examples to the CYP Programme, Transformation Board and stakeholders.
* Plan for a launch event for all key stakeholders.
* Work in collaboration with the Head of the CYP Programme, Clinical Director, Mental Health Clinical Advisor, Local Authority Advisor, Programme Manager, the Local Authority and other stakeholders to deliver the required and agreed outputs.

Essential previous experience of the right candidate:

* Must have recently led on Children and young people's projects within a CCG/LA
* Must have a thorough understand of current and upcoming healthcare policy regarding CYP Healthcare
* Knowledge of health and social care structures, policy, legislation and guidance
