Job Type

We're partnering with an NHS acute trust in the West Midlands who are seeking an experienced nursing lead who has drive and passion about Emergency Care, to assist in turning around their front door service provision.

The Trust have invested heavily in new A&E facilities which should improve patient experience and expanded capacity once they are fully bedded in. Capability and knowledge gaps have also been identified within the nursing provision and care pathways within Emergency Care, so a focus will be to develop robust standard operating procedures to ensure safe and consistent care, identify risks and innovate to fully utilise the new Ambulatory care facilities and to rebuild the team and pull them together.

Due to the consultative nature of this role it falls Outside IR35

Essential skills and experience include:

  • Registered Nurse, with significant nursing leadership experience to Matron or Head of division.
  • Significant experience within Acute Emergency Care.
  • Improvement experience; including in developing and improving SOP's and identifying training needs.
  • Strong team engagement, with a successful track record of team building and engagement with Clinical Director

This is a great opportunity for an improvement minded senior nurse who is available to commence before mid February.
