Executive Director of Nursing and Allied Health Professions
RDaSH is seeking to appoint an Executive Director of Nursing and Allied Health Professions to support the delivery of high quality, safe and sustainable Mental Health, Learning Disability and Community Services across Rotherham, Doncaster and North Lincolnshire and to continue the Trust’s strong track record of quality care and performance. The Trust has 3,700 staff, over 160 volunteers and provides care to 115,000 service users from over 200 locations. We are a supportive, values-driven and team-based organisation where the needs of service users are paramount. We’ve developed and successfully implemented a system-wide programme of transformation around a Care Group structure, to ensure that services are clinically and financially sustainable and responsive to provide safe and effective care for our service users.
As a key member of our Board you will be committed to providing leadership around the professional development of our nursing and therapies workforce, clinical governance, safeguarding, infection prevention and control and patient and public experience. To meet the opportunity presented by this role you will bring experience of operating efficiently at or close to board level, leading on corporate responsibilities and will have an understanding of our clinical services. You will be familiar with models of care which can be delivered through collaborative joint-ventures and innovative service developments.
The successful candidate will be a Registered Nurse with evidence of a clear commitment to continuing professional development, has the ability to manage a highly complex portfolio and will have significant senior management experience including Board level engagement.
