Head of Income and Contracting
My client is looking for a highly experienced Income and Contracts Manager, who has worked extensively in the NHS at a senior finance level. If you have worked within the NHS with a demonstrable track record of NHS experience, then please continue to read the following job description as below.
My client is a large Acute Trust located in South Yorkshire. The Trust is about to undergo its contracting round with local commissioners. The client is in need of an interim Head of Income and Costing to join the income team to provide much needed assistance with the process. The candidate will be required to negotiate with the commissioners during the contract negotiations and assist with any queries, and providing responses back to the commissioners.
The ideal candidate will be either a qualified or part-qualified accountant (whilst working towards completing full qualification). The candidate will have extensive experience within the NHS and in the following skill sets:
- Negotiation of NHS Service Charges;
- Assessing Financial Implications;
- Developing Service Level Agreement with external parties;
- Financial Planning
This role requires extensive and demonstrable experience in the negotiating of contracts and contracts management, whilst being skilled in PbR and SLAM also.
